Personal data protection / Privacy policy

Welcome to ALTERPIECE ("ALTERPIECE", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how it is used and shared, and your choices regarding this information.

By signing up for early access to Alterpiece on our website (the “Site”), you consent to the use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Identity of the person in charge of data processing

Personal data is collected by Alterpiece. This “Privacy Policy” governs your use of our websites that post a link to this Privacy Policy (including, without limitation, both mobile and online versions of our sites), and also applies to your use of interactive features, widgets, applications, content or downloads that: (i) we own or control; (ii) we make available through the sites; or (iii) interact with the sites and post this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Site”) regardless of how you access or use them, whether via personal computers, mobile devices or otherwise. This Privacy Policy only covers information collected at the Site directly by us, and not third parties that may interact with our Site, and does not cover any information collected at any other website or offline by Alterpiece (unless specifically stated).

By using our Site, you consent to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and our collection, use and sharing of your information and data, and other activities, as described below.

Data that can be collected on the website

Alterpiece collects and processes the following data: email, title, first name, last name, country, IP address, connection data and navigation data when you authorize it. We will use your contact details so that we can communicate with you directly about Alterpiece services and Alterpiece launch.

We collect information from you when you voluntarily submit information to the Site or to us. This can include information you provide when you fill out a form and subscribe to our mailing list or other marketing communications.

Upon collection, you are informed by a star whether the data to be provided is compulsory or optional. Some of the data is collected automatically depending on your actions on the website (see paragraph relating to cookies), including information about the pages you look at on our Service and/or the device you use to access the Site.

Your Marketing Preferences

From time to time we may contact you by email with information about our products or services.

If you do not wish us to contact you by email, you can change your email marketing preferences by emailing us at support@alterpiece.com and letting us know that you do now wish to receive marketing emails from us. You can also unsubscribe from our marketing emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails we send to you.

Recipients of the data

The data that is collected on the Site is intended for Alterpiece. The data may be transferred to sub-contracting companies with whom Alterpiece can work within the framework of the performance of its services.

(a) When You Agree To Receive Information From Third Parties. You may be presented with an opportunity to receive information and/or marketing offers directly from third parties. If you do agree to have your personal information shared, your personal information will be disclosed to such third parties and all information you disclose will be subject to the privacy policy and practices of such third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of such third parties and, therefore, you should review the privacy policies and practices of such third parties prior to agreeing to receive such information from them. If you later decide that you no longer want to receive communication from a third party, you will need to contact that third party directly.

We may provide these vendors with access to user information, including Device Identifiers and personal information, to carry out the services they are performing for you or for us. While we may use third party analytics service providers to evaluate and provide us with information about the use of the Site and viewing of our content, we do not share personal information with these analytics service providers, but they may set and access their own Tracking Technologies on your Device and they may otherwise collect or have access to information about you.

(c) Administrative and Legal Reasons. We may access, use, preserve, transfer and disclose your information (including Device Identifiers and personal information), including disclosure to third parties: (i) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoenas, governmental requests or legal process if in our good faith opinion such is required or permitted by law; (ii) to protect the safety, rights, property or security of the Site or any third party; and/or (iv) to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues. Further, we may use IP address or other Device Identifiers, to identify users, and may do so in cooperation with third parties such as copyright owners, internet service providers, wireless service providers and/or law enforcement agencies, including disclosing such information to third parties, all in our discretion, subject to applicable law. Such disclosures may be carried out without notice to you.

If you send someone else a communication from the Site, such as sending an invitation to a friend, the information you provide (names, e-mail addresses, etc.) is used to facilitate the communication and is not used by us for any other marketing purpose unless we obtain consent from that person or we explicitly say otherwise. Please be aware that when you use any send-to-a friend functionality on our Site, your e-mail address and/or name may be included in the communication sent to your addressee(s).
